Bob Rannigan
From the words of a song written for my father:
"And so I sing this song to bring,
my heart to cradle you,
embracing us with love we missed
that makes us one from two.
I am thankful for the ability to share through music, and to participate in the unfolding joy, wisdom and healing of life.
May you feel, know and flow with peace............

Starting out in Virginia Beach, Virginia, one of my Mother's earliest goals was to get me out of the party scene at the beach, so off to summer camp I went, foot locker and guitar in tow. Writing songs of angst and pain help me survive a troubled adolescence, continuing to play and sing into my twenties. My music took a back seat in my life for a while, but then the songs started coming through again, so I picked up my trusty guitar and started writing and singing again. Having more fun than is normally allowed, I have continued to write, play, and sing with great joy and satisfaction. In 2001, Bob and I began our collaboration, which has been a huge step in bringing more songs into form, writing more and more about the love we know is in the world, the need for us to reach out and help when we can, and basically have faith in something bigger than we are, of which we are a part. It has been and continues to be an excellent adventure of creativity and discovery. Music is an important part of healing ourselves and the planet. I do believe we are all here to help each other as best we can, thereby healing the wounds from the past and making the world a place in which we shall be able to continue to live, learn, and love.
Happy, joyful singing for all!
